01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

On the 1 floor of Ameyoko Center Building, Sakemuryo is a casual izakaya open from 11 in the morning until 24 at night. It works for a daytime drink as well as an evening meal. The menu ranges across grilled skewers, sashimi, stir-fries and Vietnamese dishes, with plenty of variety beyond any one cuisine.

Familiar favourites make an easy starting point: an assortment of yakitori, or omu-soba, fried noodles topped with egg. The grilled seafood selection includes whole large squid and scallops cooked with butter, while small plates such as Vietnamese fried spring rolls and spicy fried chicken wings offer more choices for the table. Mix and match to suit the occasion.

For a more substantial meal, rice bowls include seafood, roast beef and unagi-tama-gyudon, combining eel and beef with egg. Drinks range from Sapporo Lager Aka Hoshi and an extra-large 1000 ml draft beer to an assortment of highballs and Japanese whisky.

Reservations are not accepted, but guests can dine in, collect orders at the shop or take food away. Credit cards, Rakuten Pay and PayPay are accepted.
